Mini Vacuum Cleaners - Choosing the Best Mini Vacuum Cleaner

The best mini vacuum cleaners all have one thing in common - they work extremely well for their intended purpose. People have different ideas of what a mini vacuum cleaner is. Some picture it the size of a dust-buster, others define mini vacuum cleaners as much smaller. Below is a list of the features to look at when choosing one that works for your needs.

1) Size. What are you looking to clean? The size of the mini vacuum can be broken down into three categories. First, a car vacuum cleaner is the biggest of the minis. Second would be the traditional dust-buster type hand-held vacuum cleaner. Last, would be a USB vacuum cleaner meant to clean your computer and the areas of the workspace.

2) Power source. Some run on batteries, some run off electricity. Others, like the USB vacuum plug into your computer and run completely off of the power it provides. Depending on what type of power source you purchase, the amount of suction created by the vacuum will vary. A cordless unit will not be as powerful as a 4 amp electrical. Determine how much power you need, and how much of a priority convenience is for your intended usage, and you will be better able to choose.

3) Filter. The filtering systems of mini vacuum cleaners are not as good as the larger units. However, some minis contain excellent filters, (some even have HEPA filters). If removing allergens, dust mites and other elements from the air is important to you, choose a unit with a filter that can meet your needs.
